SO WHAT NOW?
HOW SHOULD WE REACT TO THE GOSPEL?
Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me." John 10: 27
Are you hearing His voice?

Then God is drawing you to Himself...

If you genuinely desire to know Christ as your Saviour from judgement, and Lord who will lead you through to eternal life, then come before Him humbly in prayer as you speak to God.
Like all relationships it has to start with a conversation, and here is some advice about how that conversation should go…
-
Respond by confessing, openly and honestly admitting, and turning away from your sin
-
Entrust the rest of your life to Him
-
Acknowledge Him as your Lord and Saviour
-
Commit, with His strength, to obey His word throughout your life
-
Tell others about the joy of your new life
If you have genuinely confessed your sins and committed to follow in the way, or teachings, of Jesus you have turned from the world’s way of a self-centred life and Christ Jesus is now in the centre of your life as Lord and Saviour. This is REPENTANCE.
If you have acknowledged Jesus as your Lord and Saviour by repentance, you are no longer trusting in your own sense of self-confidence, in your own goodness, but instead have admitted that only Jesus was good and perfect enough to die for your sins and to reconcile you to God. This is FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST.
If you, depending on His strength, determine to obey His commands out of love for God and share with others this Gospel good news. This affirms your SALVATION.

if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says,
‘Everyone who believes in him will not be put to shame.’
Romans 10: 9-11 (ESV)
If we confess our sins he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1: 19
Then Jesus told his disciples, "If anyone would follow me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it." Matthew 16: 25-26
So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10: 32-33
...and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria and to the ends of the earth. Acts 1: 8
And it shall come to pass that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Acts 2: 21
